Abstract
This article examines the role of kinesiotaping in the prevention, rehabilitation, and functional support of shoulder joint pathologies, with particular emphasis on the rotator cuff. The study analyzes the biomechanical and physiological mechanisms through which kinesiotaping may contribute to pain reduction, improved shoulder stability, enhanced proprioception, and optimization of movement patterns.
Special attention is given to the application of kinesiotaping as a supportive intervention for athletes, physically active individuals, and patients recovering from shoulder injuries. The article discusses the influence of kinesiotaping on blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular control, and tissue recovery processes.
The findings suggest that kinesiotaping can serve as an effective adjunctive tool for reducing injury recurrence, maintaining functional mobility, and supporting the recovery of rotator cuff function when applied as part of an individualized rehabilitation program.
